Serie A clubs Lazio and Sassuolo will be scrutinized in the context of an ongoing investigation into match fixing in Italy.

According to various reports in the Italian media after years of investigation by the authorities in Cesena, new evidence has recently come to light.
Reports suggest that one or more matches of Sassuolo going back to as far as 2007 will be looked at in detail.

The investigators have identified more than 200 computers and mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, which will be scrutinized using keywords to attempt to potentially unlock discussions which took place about some of the matches.

According to the Italian media, however, several players including Lazio captain Stefano Mauri, have refused to hand over passwords for their phones or tablets to help the investigators in their work.
