Malta-licensed online sportsbook Bet-At-Home.com has announced the signing of a two-year shirt sponsorship agreement with Spanish Primera Division team Real Club Deportivo Mallorca.
Bet at Home is a subsidiary of France’s Mangas Gaming Group and revealed that the deal also includes advertising panels inside the team’s 23,000-seat ONO Estadi ground alongside a "large presence" on the club website at RCDMallorca.es and the use of "hospitality services".
"After sponsoring the ASOBAL League and the ATP tournament in Valencia, we are quite happy to have found a new partner in Spain," said Klaus Gruber, Marketing Manager for Bet-At-Home.com.
"We are sure that this partnership will increase the reputation of our company in the Spanish market. The high media coverage of the Primera Division in Spain and abroad, which provides us the opportunity to strengthen our brand via attractive promotion offers, and the club's willingness and good organisation were the main reasons for our co-operation".
Real Club Deportivo Mallorca finished the 2009/10 season in fifth place but was told last month that it would not be allowed to compete in this year’s Europa League competition after declaring debts of around €80 million and entering into voluntary administration. The club subsequently filed an appeal that is yet to be heard by the Spanish courts while no financial details regarding the sponsorship deal have been disclosed.
"We are proud and happy that Bet at Home will support our club during these economically difficult times," said Jordi Jimenez, Press Officer for Real Club Deportivo Mallorca.
"We are really looking forward to cooperating with a well-known international company and we are confident that it will benefit both Bet-At-Home.com and Real Club Deportivo Mallorca in the near future".
