Leading online gaming company Bodog has made a move into offline betting, taking its initial wagers at Sunday's Premier League clash between Fulham and Manchester United. Bodog had five specific betting booths set up at Craven Cottage as well as having roving staff taking bets from corporate areas.
Bodog Europe inked a deal with Fulham last year to become an official betting partner giving the brand an online presence on the club's website as well as advertising space at Craven Cottage. Bodog will now be offering fans of the Cottagers cash betting at home games.
Patrik Selin, CEO of Bodog Europe, commented: “The Bodog brand has been taking online bets for 15 years but this is the first time any licensee has offered the service beyond the internet. We will continue to have a presence at Craven Cottage for all Fulham’s home matches but will also look to develop the concept at our upcoming sponsorships beyond football in the very near future.”
